This initiative is part of Casio’s ongoing ‘Learn @Home with Casio’ campaign, which has been launched to provide resources for anyone seeking ideas to keep themselves occupied and entertained during self-isolation. The campaign includes free access to online music lessons via the Casio Music Academy. A digital sheet music book is also available for learners to play their favourite popular music through a partnership with RockSchool.

All these resources, together with the the Chordana Play app – a free app for music learning games – are accessible via a new online hub: music.casio.co.uk/learnathome. Casio is asking people to post a clip of themselves performing with a piano or keyboard tagging Casio with the hashtag #athomewithcasio.

Neil Evans, Head of Casio EMI, said: ‘Many individuals or families are looking for ways to entertain themselves during this unprecedented time. If you’ve been thinking of taking up a new hobby, want to learn a new skill or are simply returning to playing the keyboard or piano, our live lessons are aimed at getting players started on their musical journey. Combined with the free online Casio Music Academy, there is something for everyone and we’re confident you’ll be playing in no time.’
